Our MIHA (Midwest Inline Hockey Association) team is gearing up for the season. We have a mix of young fast legs and some seasoned sport vets. We think that this should be a good combination to have a good showing this season.
Labeda Leaf Ray Tournament team did very well at TORHS Nationals this summer. The team finished with a 4-1-1 record claiming 5th place. A disappointing OT loss in the quarter finals finished the tournament for the team.
PIHA and Leaf Ray have been in talks. While we were unable to come to an agreement for this season, progress has come along way over the past 6 weeks. We are hopeful to be returning to the league for the 2024-2025 season.
Training/Practice facility - As you may be aware, we are currently working to renovate a facility in Central Iowa to utilize as a practice and training facility. The project was broken out into several phases and phase 1 has officially started. Phase one includes some storm damage repair, repainting the outside and a new roof. Hoping to have phase 2 completed and ready for skating in winter of 2024. Click Here for updates about the facility.
