Labeda Leaf Ray - 2026 season review
Labeda Leaf Ray managed to fit two tournaments into its summer schedule. The team was assembled on short notice, and several players had never played together before. The first tournament took place over Memorial Day weekend in Omaha, Nebraska. New General Manager - Gary Denton
Gary has been a part of Leaf Ray since its creation in 2017. Over the years, he has served in numerous roles, including Team Captain, Assistant Coach, Head Coach, and Team Coordinator. This year, he has stepped up in a big way as the organization’s new leader. We are confident that Gary’s insight and team-first mentality will be extremely beneficial. Omaha Invitational Champions
Leaf Ray headed to Omaha for Memorial Weekend, with Skate City serving as the venue. The team started slowly, falling behind 0–2 midway through the first half of their opening game against Puck Norris from Kansas City, MO. They began to come together as the game progressed but ultimately ran out of time, losing 2–3. In the next couple of games, the team continued to improve and play with greater cohesion. 2025-2026 Leaf Ray PIHA Season Review
Lambs Grove Leaf Ray competes in the Minor Division of the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA). This marked the team’s second season, entering the year with expectations of achieving an 80% win percentage and making a run in the PIHA Finals.
