Leaf Ray and MIHA

ree

At the beginning of last season, Leaf Ray had alot of interest in 2 MIHA teams.

There was some miscommunication between the league and the LeMars team on this team as it was intended to be a part time team with 2-3 tournaments on the schedule. The league put 4 tournaments on the schedule and the players didn't fully commit to the first two tournaments which understandably upset the league. Because of this, the LeMars team was taken off the MIHA schedule for the entire season.

The Lake City team committed to a full schedule. They struggled in the first tournament but improved and had high hopes for the rest of the season following the 2nd tournament. Unfortunately several players had scheduling conflicts and a couple of late backouts by late subs left the team very short for the 3rd tournament. A misunderstanding by team leadership of the league regulations lead the league to remove Lake City from their final tournament as well.

Because of the situations last season, the league and the team are going to temporarily part ways for a season. We take responsibility for attempting to grow to quickly and are sincerely sorry to all who were negatively affected by the situation. Leaf Ray is going to continue to work with the league leadership to mend the relationship in hopes to return a team for the 2026-2027 season.

In the meantime our highest priority is to find placement for our players for this upcoming season. If you play on a MIHA team and would like to assist, please reach out to us at LeafRay7@outlook.com as we have many players of all tiers looking for teams this upcoming season.
