Des Moines Leaf Ray

This info is for our Inline Hockey team which plays teams from all over the world in the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA) League.

This team plays in the Semi-Pro division and 2024-2025 will be this teams 5th season in the league.

League
PIHA stands for Professional Inline Hockey Association.  The league is divided up into 2 conferences which have 2 divisions in them.  The top teams from each division will compete in PIHA Finals to determine Conference and League Champions.   This league is very competitive and compensates the team which finish at the top of their conferences and league.

Season Set up
PIHA is a normal League which plays 24 regular season games.  Leaf Ray will plays from all over the world including New York, Colorado, Columbia, Hawaii, and much more places.  Top teams make the playoffs to compete for the conference championship and league championship (Founders Cup).

Weekend Set Up
Leaf Ray is unique in that we are based out of Iowa but play all of our regular season games in Central Colorado.  Most teams will play 2 games per weekend, however Leaf Ray will play 6-8 games per weekend.
