MIHA Chicago Tournament Results

Leaf Ray was in Chicago last weekend (10/23/21-10/24/21).

T3 started the weekend out strong beating Active Stick Hockey from Chicago IL by a score of 10-3 and Chicago Tropics by a score of 6-5. They were the #1 seed in the playoffs and got knocked out in the semi-final game against a very good Chicago Mary Pats in overtime. Leaf Ray Tier 3 finished the weekend in 3rd place.

Unlike in Detroit, T4 started the weekend strong beating the Chicago Rampage 4-3 in a shootout. Rookie Stu Mcdonald had the game winning goal in the 5th round of the shootout. The weekend just went down hill from there as the team struggled to come together the rest of the weekend losing to Chicago Mary Pats in the final round robin game and to Windy City Syndicate in the Semi-Finals in the playoffs. Leaf Ray Tier 4 finished the weekend in 3rd place.

Next tournament will be on February 19th & 20th back at Salt Creek Sports Center in Chicago Illinois. Both tier 3 and tier 4 teams will be at the tournament.
